Emergency First Aid at Work

This 6-8 hour course, covers the role and responsibilities of an emergency first aider, incident assessment, scene safety, casualty assessment, adult CPR, safe use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED), and the recovery position. Learners will also develop the skills to manage choking, severe bleeding, shock, burns and scalds, minor injuries, and recognise and respond to common medical emergencies including heart attack, stroke, seizures, asthma, diabetes, and anaphylaxis.
